I’ve spent 10+ years working as a mental health practitioner, with a background in human sexuality and neuropsychology. And I’ve been teaching Twerk Therapy for three years.

I love understanding why we do what we do. I also love what happens when the music comes on and everybody finally gets to MOVE. 😂

My opinion? We can talk about our patterns all damn day. Sometimes I want us to put that playlist on and let our bodies have a turn.

I’m bringing the psychology background, the choreography, and the kind of energy that gets even the shy girlies smiling.

The story behind Twerk Therapy

IT STARTED WITH CARDI B, A BABY ON MY CHEST, AND A MAMA WHO WANTED MORE. 🍑

I was postpartum with my third baby, sitting in my living room staring at the walls.

And I remember thinking, there has GOT to be more to my life than being a young mom who's depressed and doesn't even recognize the woman staring back at her in the mirror.

Then one day, I turned on some Cardi B. Bodak Yellow, to be exact. 😂

There I was, singing at the top of my lungs and dancing around my living room with my baby on my chest.

Girl, I felt FREEEEEE.

For those few minutes, I could actually feel myself again. And then it hit me: WAIT A DAMN MINUTE. THIS IS SOMATIC WORK. 🤯

I'd spent years studying the mind, human sexuality, and the nervous system, and here I was experiencing firsthand what movement could mean for me.

So I thought, what if I made a space where other women could experience their own version of that feeling?

Somewhere to laugh obnoxiously loud, move their hips, feel sexy, and have a GOOD time in their bodies.

And that's how Twerk Therapy was born.

A playground for somatic healing and ass shaking. 💋

I still think about that mama dancing in her living room. She had no idea what she was starting. 🥹

And now I get to bring that playground to YOUR event. 🍑

The host provides the venue, suitable sound system, event marketing, ticketing (if applicable), and guest coordination.

Booking essentials

THE DETAILS

Reserve your date

A 50% nonrefundable retainer is required to secure the booking, subject to the signed event agreement.

Three-day deadline

Final guest count and the remaining event balance are due three calendar days before the event. Increases after that deadline require approval and payment before facilitation.

Travel beyond Austin

Published rates apply to local Austin-area events. Events outside the local service area require a custom quote including airfare and hotel accommodations, as applicable. Final pricing may change.

Questions before you inquire?

GOOD TO KNOW

Is the consultation the actual event booking?

No. The 30-minute consultation is for serious inquiries to discuss your event vision, date, location, guest count, and logistics. Your date is secured only after the agreement and required retainer are completed.

Can I book outside Austin?

Yes, subject to availability. Nonlocal events receive a custom quote that accounts for airfare, hotel accommodations, and other necessary travel arrangements. The posted rates apply to Austin-area local events.

Who is responsible for promoting and organizing the event?

The host. You're booking Cheyenne to facilitate Twerk Therapy. Marketing, venue arrangements, ticket sales, and guest management are handled by the event organizer.

When are guest counts and payments finalized?

The final guest count and remaining balance are due three calendar days before your event. The 50% retainer reserves your date under the signed agreement.

Can we add professional photos and videos?

Yes. MYKEALA of Snapsbyagirl (@snapsbyagirl) provides professional photo and video coverage is available for an additional $500 per hour, subject to availability. Both the host and The Intimate Mom receive access to the final content under agreed permissions.
